Best jacket ever!!!!!!!! If you go to the Helly Hansen website you will see that they rate it 100% waterproof and 100% windproof. This is true! And it is the reason I purchased it. Other rainjackets and coats that I’ve had in the past have either leaked or the water has eventually soaked through. This one will keep you dry. As importantly, it is not made of a heavy plastic, and it has a lot of well-placed ventilation, so it is not hot. The plastic raincoats have made me sweat in a matter of minutes. I can wear this jacket all day and feel comfortable. I love the style with the snaps down the front and even in on a windy day, the wind does not get in between the snaps. I like it without the belt, because it then has a nice a-line look to it, whereas with the belt it looks a bit bunched-up on me. I’m 5 feet tall and weigh less than 100 lbs and the XS fit me great. Look at the length that is listed, because on me it comes down almost to my knees (unlike on the model in the picture), and that’s what I wanted anyway. My daughter saw it on me and she wanted one. When she got it, she absolutely loved how it looked on her, too.

I love this jacket. The only issue that I had is that it is slightly too tight around my chest despite fitting great everywhere else. For reference, I bought a large, am normally a clothing size 12 and a bra size 38E. I will be exchanging for an XL in hopes that it’s not too big. The quality is top-notch, the cut is super flattering and the yellow color is really nice-not too bright, but perfect for dark, early morning walks.

I’m usually a perfect medium. This coat was too tight in the bust over only a T-shirt. Additionally, material a bit too rubbery feeling. If rainproof is what’s most important, I’m sure it is!

The size was cut too small for me. Lovely jacket – kinda rubber material with no underarm venting. Will definitely sweat in this jacket but it has a lovely cut.

Excellent slim cut and great quality

Stylish and super pleased!

The raincoat fit well, trim. I love the bright colors on a gloomy, rainy day! The raincoat material feels almost fabric like in its softness while also being rubbery/water replellant.

I think the fit is perfect..assuming you have a sweater/sweatshirt layer underneath. For warmer climates, I may size down. It is a true raincoat..warm, comfortable, and kept me totally dry during a 2 hour pouring rain event. Big pockets are a bonus…my phone kept dry the entire time, and the belt makes it a little more stylish.

I love this raincoat! Already tested it out in heavy downpour walking my dogs and it kept me dry. I got a size medium, for reference my measurements are 36 chest, 29 waist and 38 hips. It fit perfectly, with about 3-4 inches of positive ease throughout.

I returned this product due to sizing, I normally wear med to large and medium in this was bit tight. But I had much bigger reason for returning. When I was trying it on to see if it fits, I put my hands in the pocket to see how it looks. I felt something inside, it was a fabric mask, I was confused. I thought, oh, they gave me a complimentary mask? Then I looked at it close only to realize it was NOT a new mask. It was a used mask, it had stains on it like someone has been wearing it, I freaked out, washed my hands 10+ times. We’re in middle of pandemic & I just touched a worn mask that belong to who knows what. I assume it belong to who ever returned this coat before me. I don’t care about buying returned item since returns are supposed to be in new & sale-able condition. And this coat was, I looked at it carefully, definitely wasn’t worn & very new condition. When returns come in, isn’t zapppos supposed to inspect the item? if they did, they would have discovered this dirty worn mask in the pocket before they shipped it out to another customer. I have bought many items from Zappos before and always been very happy with the experience, but after this, I am really not sure if I’ll be buying another clothing item after this trauma.

I originally bought the small (Helly Hansen website quiz on picking a size said it was 86% sure a small would fit) but it was tight in the shoulders and the hips. I returned the small and bought the large and it was still tight in the shoulders and a bit in the hips but I can live with it. I was looking for a good raincoat for an upcoming trip. It looks fabulous. I think if you have wider shoulders size up.

Does not feel breathable at all! Very heavy. Snaps on sleeves made it way too tight.

Snaps on cuffs made it way too tight. The material is NOT breathable and it is heavy! I am going to stick to waterproof, lightweight, breathable Gore-tex! The “Helox” material is AWFUL!!!

As others have noted, too tight in the chest. It seemed to be truly, impressively waterproof but lacking on venting, so while I’d probably trust it in a downpour, I’m afraid I’d be getting damp inside, too, and seemed therefore impractical for regular, lighter-duty purposes.

Too expensive

Amazing material, I’m sure would be water proof, a little too big for my 5’4″ frame

LOVED this rain coat. Unfortunately, way too small. I usually wear a L, but ordered an XL so there would be room for a sweater underneath. The arm pits were so high that I could definitely only wear this with something sleeveless underneath. Great fabric, very comfortable, perfect if you want something really waterproof. But not enough arm room for a jacket that’s going to be worn over clothing.

I hated this jacket.
It’s completely unlined, which makes it look and feel rough on the inside. The edges around the pockets were also rough and weirdly sharp (like, it was actively uncomfortable to use the pockets). The material also felt very stiff and plasticky to me.
While it may excel at being waterproof & windproof (I didn’t keep it to test out), so many of the details seemed like they got no attention at all, and I was disappointed in too many things. I felt like I would have been annoyed by the multitude of design oversights every single time I wore this jacket. I returned it!

Seems it would do a good job in the rain! I wasn’t thrilled with the style or feel of the material though.
