I really like this coat. This is really a lightly insulated raincoat or fall jacket. It is slightly tailored, so more flattering than your typical raincoat. I can dress it up or down in a sporty way and most importantly, the sleeves fit my really long arms.

Overall very happy with this coat; it’s stylish and comfortable. My only issue with it is that it’s a little tight around my wrists when wearing it with a watch. I originally ordered a S and ended up exchanging it for a XS as it was a little too baggy for my liking. (5’4 & 120lbs).

The coat has a decent look and cut to it. However, about three weeks into owning it the lining inside the coat began to unravel. I called customer service for Zappos, they actually did not resolve the issue. I was very surprised. They removed my VIP membership instead ? I don’t get it Zappos?

I really like this coat and wanted to keep it, but navy is just not the greatest color for me. So, sadly it will be returned.

I purchased this jacket to transition from colder weather (Late January-Mid February) to early Spring (March). This jacket is perfect for days that are high in the 40’s to 50’s. It has some insulation—which helps with wind and it’s also rain repellent. An added perk is the zipper on the jacket—you can zip from the top or the bottom! I am 5ft1in/120lbs/34DD/26 waist and the small was perfect fit.

I ordered the coat in a small – I normally wear a 4 or 6. I wanted to be able to layer underneath it. The small was too snug so I ordered a medium. The medium was also too snug. Sadly I returned the second coat for a refund.

Follow the Helly Hansen size guide to get your correct size. I usually wear a SM in coats, but MD was the correct fit per the guide and it was. This is a lightly insulated raincoat. Perfect for warm winter, cold spring and fall days. The Dove Grey is absolutely gorgeous! It is kind of has a hint of purple or lavender to it, giving it a silvery/lavender/grey tone. Only thing I do not like about HH coats, is the arms are made a bit too narrow. I wish they would relax them up just a bit to allow for a more comfortable fit with a sweater.

This coat was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I wanted something that 1) wasn’t too heavy, but that still offered an insulated layer; 2) was more sporty/athletic in design; 3) didn’t have flashy logos; 4) had long enough sleeves for my long arms. This coat delivered on all of those things. I did take the advice of many of the other reviewers and I ordered a size up. I’m 5’9″, 36c chest, probably about 135lbs, and normally wear a Medium but bought the Large and it’s just right. I plan to wear it over a sweatshirt and leggings, while running errands on the weekends, and the Large will give me plenty of room for that without being too roomy/bulky. The fit is flattering on my taller frame, and as I said, the sleeves are perfectly long enough. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but it’ll be a great piece for me for a long time because I know HH products are very well made.

fit was perfect but i am tall. 5.10 140 lbs, and a large fit perfect. Arms are on the tighter side, if you have bigger arms, you may not like this coat.

The fit and size run true to size. The coat fits close to the body, and is very becoming and comfortable.
I hate the logo on the side–I’m not a billboard. In most cases that would have prevented the purchase, but the coat was highly recommended in a national publication, and the coat is good looking and comfortable, so I acted against type. I would like the coat much better without the advertising.
